Last Morning in Bryce and Kodachrome

Here is one from Kodachrome State Park. It is another HDR shot with several exposures and a more textured look than others I’ve done.

Bryce in Black and White

Here’s a shot of a hoodoo from this morning converted to Black and White.

Since the light isn’t good for colors in midday, I took out the infrared camera.

Fortunately, I had good skies for the infrared.

More Morning Bryce

These are from Inspiration Point this morning.

There was a tour bus full of loud, chatty Japanese tourists at the point, so my quiet morning was a little boisterous. But, they were more interested in the moment the sun peeked over the horizon than what the sun did to the color of the hoodoos.

I am strangely very fond of this one.

Bryce Canyon

Here is a “classic” Bryce shot at sunrise from Sunrise Point.

This is a Bristlecomb pine, some 7,000 years old.
